Kevin Durant confirms he tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

Brooklyn Nets player Kevin Durant confirmed on Wednesday that he tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

We learned that Durant confirmed the news to The Athletic website.

In a report by the E! News Online, Durant advised the people to always be careful and take good care of themselves.

“Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We're going to get through this,” Durant said.

In a report by the CNN Philippines, Durant was among the four members of Brooklyn Nets who reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

"Four Brooklyn Nets players have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus," the team said in a statement.

"Of the four, one player is exhibiting symptoms while three are asymptomatic,” it added.

As reported by the GMA News Online, the four cases doubled the known number of coronavirus cases among NBA players.

Kevin Durant is a known NBA player who used to be a player of Golden State Warriors before he transferred to Brooklyn Nets. In June 2019, he underwent surgery for his torn Achilles.
