Mabuting puso! Pokwang repacks goods and donates them to poor families

Pokwang took to social media to share an update on her positive contributions amidst the COVID-19 spread in the Philippines.

We learned that after donating meals and snacks to some of the police officers and soldiers at quarantine checkpoints, she decided to focus her attention on the poor families affected by the lockdown.

The comedienne repacked goods and donated them to the poor families with the help of the leader in her barangay.


She also told her friends that she could not answer their calls because she was busy repacking the items for the poor.

“sa mga friends ko WALA muna video call at group chat hahahahhaaa busy ako mag re pack wait lang po para sa mga nasa bahay na alam nating kahit gusto nilang magtabi para sa lockdown e wala naman ipang ta tabing pagkain.kapit Lang ha matatapos din ito,” Pokwang posted on Instagram.

“Don’t worry hindi na po ako lalabas last na ito hahahahahaa pick up nalang ng baranggay captain NA pinagkakatiwalaan ko, alam na nya sino mga dapat bigyan MGA walang pang lockdown NA pagkain mga nasa kalye at bahay na walang stock at pang stock, salamat sa mga kasambahay ko sa help thank you Omay. ako na bahala sa pamilya nyo. GOD PLEASE HEAL OUR LAND AND THE WORLD,” she wrote.

Pokwang gave birth to her first child – Malia – with American partner Lee O’Brian on January 18, 2018. She has an older daughter, Rie Mae Subong, with a former partner. The comedienne also had a son who died due to an illness while she was working overseas.
