Umarangkada na! Number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 climbs to 572

The total number of patients who have already recovered from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines has reached 572.

We learned that there are 56 infected people who recovered on April 19, according to the Department of Health (DOH).

This is the seventh day already that the country has tallied more recoveries than fatalities due to the said disease.

The health department announced that 12 more people have died today, bringing the total number of deaths to 409.

The government and medical frontliners continue to remind the public to strictly follow quarantine protocols to avoid contracting COVID-19.

The Philippines is one of the countries that has been experiencing the negative effect of COVID-19. The community quarantine is scheduled to be lifted by the end of this month, but the government is thinking of extending it.
