Video of emotional Carlo Katigbak giving message to ABS-CBN employees surfaces


Carlo Katigbak, the president and chief executive officer of ABS-CBN, tried to hold back his tears while giving a message to the employees of the said network.

We learned that the said heartwarming incident happened just after the Congress officially rejected the franchise renewal bid of the media giant.

Through a virtual townhall meeting held recently, the ABS-CBN chairman emeritus decided to talk to his family of more than 11 thousand people.

Gerald Anderson shared a short video on social media where the said executive can be seen holding back his tears, a thing that he rarely does in public.

He thanked all the employees of the network for fighting very hard amid the heavy issues that it is facing with regards to its 25-year franchise.

Carlo’s voice suddenly cracked because he was getting really emotional while speaking in front of those who are greatly affected by the franchise issue.

"First of all, I want to thank everyone for…" he quipped, then suddenly paused.

“First of all, I want to thank everyone for fighting with us,” he continued.
