Ogie Diaz called on everyone to disregard colors when it’s time to cast their votes.

He said that instead of colors, people should look at the character and reputation of a candidate.

The showbiz reporter then said that even President Duterte and Mayor Sara Duterte supported former President Noynoy Aquino, whose campaign color is yellow, during the 2010 elections.

Ogie then said this is why people should set aside whatever anger they felt toward the so-called “yellows,” adding that politicians change colors all the time.

“Ipahinga na yung galit nyo sa mga Dilawan,” Ogie wrote in his post.

He stressed, however, that he is not a “yellow,” nor does he look at colors when voting.

In parting, Ogie said that there’s nothing he can do if many others would still think or look at it in the same manner, saying that it is their own vote after all.

Ogie just reminded everyone that each vote is important and that it would mean a lot for the country’s future.
