A 26-year-old woman was killed after being shot three times in the back inside her rented apartment in Barangay Madaum, Tagum City, during the early hours of Wednesday. An elderly man was reportedly stabbed, hacked, and set on fire in Limay, Bataan. In a report by Jiggy Manicad on TV5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' authorities found the victim's lifeless body still emitting smoke when it was discovered. The elderly victim, identified as Ricardo Balmaceda, had reportedly been missing for two days. Balmaceda’s burned body was found by authorities in a dumpster.
