Cristy Fermin sa performance ni Herlene Budol sa Bb. Pilipinas 2022: "Bagito talaga"

Cristy Fermin and Romel Chika have shared their honest sentiments about Herlene Budol's performance at the recently-concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2022.

Previously, Herlene made headlines after finishing the pageant as the 1st Runner Up. She was also lauded for answering in Tagalog during the Q&A portion.

Following this news, we learned that Cristy said that while Herlene's performance was nice, the latter is still a "bagito" in the pageant.

At the beginning of their discussion, Cristy and Romel talked about the people claiming that Herlene was 'robbed' at the pageant.

"May mga sumisigaw po na nabudol daw si Herlene Budol. Natural yun, Romel. Kapag ikaw ay talaga namang naniniwala ng isang daang porsyento sa iyong minamanok, masasaktan ka kapag hindi siya nakakuha nung pwesto na inaasahan mo. Pero alam mo, sa isang bagito, sa isang tulad ni Herlene na walang karanasan sa pagsali sa mga beauty contest, napakaganda ng ipinakita niya," Cristy said.

The veteran columnist then shared her thoughts about Herlene, stating that the latter's experience is still raw.

"Ang sabi ko, 'Ang manok ko ay ang taga-Borongan, Samar at Cebu,' at yun nga ang mga nakakuha ng pwesto. Ang sabi ko, nakita ko rin yung dating ni Hipon, tanggapin po natin ang katotohanan, hindi po siya makakakuha dun sa apat, yun pang-international. Kapos pa po, kumbaga sa prutas, hilaw pa, pero sa kabila nun, nag-first runner up pa rin siya at ang dami dami niyang nakuhang special awards, matuwa na po tayo dun," she said.

Continuing further, Cristy said that one can see that Herlene is still a "bagito" from her posture alone.

"Alam mo, kitang-kita mo sa postura ni Herlene na bagito talaga siya. Bagito talaga siya eh, lalo na nung sabihin niyang siya raw si Herlene Budol, 'I'm uniquely beautiful with a mission' gumanun pa eh," she pointed out.
