Lars Pacheco, gumastos ng halos 1M para sa gender reassignment surgery

Lars Pacheco, one of the top three winners in the Miss Q&A 2018, recently declared that she’s now a full-fledged woman after undergoing gender reassignment surgery, also called SRS.

It can be recalled that the Miss Q&A second-runner-up went to Thailand to undergo the procedure necessary to change her organ from male to female.

In a Facebook live stream, Lars said she decided to talk about her gender reassignment surgery because many people, particularly those from the LGBTQIA+ community, are asking about it.

“Ang dami kasi nagtatanong kung magkano daw yung nagastos ko for this SRS dito sa Kamol hospital,” Lars said.

As regards her chosen SRS technique of penile peritoneal vaginoplasty or PPV, she said she opted for it because she wanted to have the best.

“Kaya ko siya napiling technique is because unang-una sa lahat, ito yung pinaka-major surgery na gagawin ko sa buhay ko so gusto ko siya na maging pinakabongga, pinaka-expensive,” Lars revealed.

“Gusto ko yung maganda so yun yung treat ko sa sarili ko kasi, di ba, ito yung once in a lifetime lang na gagawin sa buhay natin kaya naman kailangang pag-ipunan talaga,” she added.

She also said that she liked SRS because it’s the procedure that would take her closer to being a real woman.

Lars also explained that the organs of those who underwent PPV would self-lubricate.

She said that she paid 622,700 Thai Baht or around P971,000.

"Hindi naman ako nagsisi dahil ngayon pa lang sobrang nakikita ko na nagsu-subside na yung maga, medyo nakakalakad na din ako and sobrang worth it, grabe, tuwing naiisip ko kung paano ko pinag-ipunan yung SRS ko, grabe, sobrang worth it,” Lars said.

Lars also posted on her Instagram account a photo of her on a hospital bed with the caption: “I am a woman.”
