Warrants of arrest of Vhong Navarro to be out soon, Manila Bulletin reported
The warrants of arrest against Vhong Navarro will allegedly be issued by two Taguig courts soon, Manila Bulletin reported.
Cases against Vhong were raffled and the r*pe case will be handled by Judge Lorelie Datahan of Taguig RTC Branch 69.
The case of acts of lasciviousness was assigned through a raffle to MTC Branch 116 under Judge Angela Francesca Din.
On Aug. 31, a case was filed against the comedian and TV host before the RTC Taguig.
As per the records of the prosecutor's office, the information was file on Jan. 17, 2014.
On Sept. 1, Olivete ordered that the raffling of Navarro's case will be deferred pending the Motion for Reconsideration filed by the latter's camp with the Court of Appeals.
Atty. Topacio also said in a video uploaded on YouTube by Modern Showbiz, that Deniece is determined to press on the charges against Vhong.
As per Philstar, the April 30, 2018 and July 14, 2020 resolutions of the Department of Justice, which dismissed the case of Deniece, were reversed by the Court of Appeals, which brought forth the r*pe charge anew.
