Ruffa Gutierrez, in an interview by members of the press, said that she doesn’t need a man in order for her to have jewelries.

“Hindi ko kailangang umasa sa lalake para sa mga alahas,” Ruffa said.

She also indicated that she could always buy her own jewelries and flowers.

The actress and beauty queen made her brave declaration during the media conference for the film, ‘Martyr or Murderer’.

Ruffa also said that if in case a guy would give her jewelries, she would thank him, though she also emphasized that she could buy her own.

“Kung bibigyan ako, di thank you. But I can buy my own. Flowers and jewelry,” Ruffa added.

The actress portrays the role of Imelda in the new film, which is written and directed by Darryl Yap.

‘Martyr or Murderer’ is said to be the sequel or the prequel to the earlier movie titled ‘Maid in Malacañang’, which was also directed by Direk Darryl.

Ruffa is a beauty queen, actress, and model from the Philippines. She is the daughter of celebrities Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. She was the second runner-up in Miss World 1993 pageant. She has two children, Lorin Gabriella and Venezia Loran with her former husband, Yilmaz Bektas.
