A mother and her 6-year-old son were discovered dead inside their home in Valenzuela City.

CCTV footage showed the two stepping out, seemingly followed by a suspicious man from a distance.

Later that afternoon, their bloodied and lifeless bodies were found inside their residence.

According to the investigation, the suspect, with the help of witnesses, was identified as Michael Francisco, a friend of the victims' father who's currently in jail.

In an interview with Emil Sumangil on GMA 7's '24 Oras,' the woman's mother revealed that the suspect tried to hide the bodies using a blanket and placing them under the bed.
