Seven members of a family died after the utility van that they were riding on crashed onto a tree.

According to Frontline's report, the van lost its brakes as they were already returning home from an outing.

Police reported that the driver tried to slow down the car by applying the handbrakes but it has already gained momentum.

Two minors were among those who died.

The father of the 8-year-old minor who died in the accident felt so much heartbreak.

The incident happened just before Christmas in South Cotabato.
