Three days after the tragic crash at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 that claimed the lives of two passengers, the 47-year-old SUV driver involved has yet to speak publicly.
On Monday, the driver underwent online inquest proceedings before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
He is now facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in two counts of homic&de, multiple physical injuries, and damage to property.
In the absence of a private lawyer, the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) has taken over his legal representation.
However, the driver has remained silent, offering no explanation for the fatal incident.
Revelyn Ramos-Dacpano, Regional Public Attorney and Head Executive Support Staff of PAO-NCR.
The SUV’s owner has yet to coordinate with PAO. According to the Aviation Security Unit, the driver had just dropped off his employer at the airport before the crash.
